High Five for Friday! 1.2

Happy Friday! It sure feels like it should actually be a Sunday after having yesterday off, but I will take it!

1. Spending time with family is the best. It’s sometimes hard (ok most of the time…) to live a whole state away, but being near them is always great.

2. Kevin and I started a new thing where we are going to play board games once a week, and we FINALLY bought scrabble! I love geeking out at scrabble.

Scrabble certainly isn’t dumb!

3. I set big goals for 2015, including hitting 2015 miles! I have a few other goals in the works, and may share them at some point. I am excited to push myself this year and I’m excited about my plans!

4. Our New Year’s Eve started with a great Nebrasketball game, which ended unfortunately. We grabbed a bite to eat, and then headed home to get in our PJs and play some board games. Don’t be jealous of our wild night! I actually wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂image
5. I started off my 2015 with a short run! I am still battling a cold I picked up from my adorable nephew, so I haven’t been pushing it with workouts this week. Hopefully I’m at the tail end of the cold, because I have miles to get in!

How scary do I look in my Bane mask?

Did you have a big New Years party? Or did you snuggle up at home like we did? Either way, I hope it was fantastic!

I know this was last week, but love that you and your husband are starting a board game tradition. Awesome! I love board games!! I may steal that idea for our family 🙂

I know you were a regular H54F linker! Just FYI – Lauren has passed the hosting reigns on to myself and 3 other bloggers, if you’d still like to link up! We’d love to have you join us each week!

Katie, Thank you so much for letting me know! I am so glad someone is taking over H54F! I was out of town last week so I did not get a post up, but I will for sure this week!

And our game night is now going strong 3 weeks in a row! We are excited to go look for some new 2 person games– a lot of our board games are 3 or more players 🙂
