High Five for Friday 2.27

Helllooooo! How are you guys doing on this fantastic Friday? I am super excited for this weekend because I will going to my sister-in-law’s bridal shower and bachelorette party! It is all roaring ’20s/ Great Gatsby themed and is going to be blast!

Here is a recap of my week:

I have been working on my Fancy Fox quilt (pattern by Elizabeth Hartman) and I am so totally dying of cuteness every time I finish a new face!  I have finished 18 of 54 and I can’t wait for it all to come together!

After a fantastic long run on Saturday, we went to MoJava for some coffee and brunch and it may have been the best brunch ever.  On the last bite of that quiche, however, I realized it had cheese it and I gave that up for lent!  oops!

I will do pretty much anything for a cute new running shirt, including running in crazy cold temps, into the wind, both ways… ha!  But seriously, how cute is this shirt from Mizuno and the Lincoln Running Company?  Love them! image

If you doubt whether it has been cold in the midwest, let this be proof. This was at 10:00 a.m. by the way.  It never got above 0 on the “feels like” scale so I took my run to the dreadmill last night.
imageMy niece started preschool this week and it made me want to cry like a little baby!  It feels like just yesterday she was born.  So proud of her for being so confident and brave starting school.  That girl is going places!

How was your week?  Do you have big plans for the weekend?

Have you ever been to a roaring ’20s party?  I’m so excited to dress up!
