Mileage Matters

Hellllllloooooooooo everybody!  Long time no see!  I swear I’m still alive.  I know I have said it before, but work got in the way of blogging. Again. Boo for being busy, but yay for having a J-O-B!  🙂

Lately I have basically just been running and doing yoga.  The closer I get to the half marathon, the more the miles add up and the less I want to do other workouts.  I am still keeping track of my miles, but I have not done a great job of mixing it up.  Hopefully I will be able to add in some more biking now that the weather is starting to improve!

Here is where I stand for the monthly totals.  Skip to the bottom to see it broken down by day!

So far I am still on track for the year.  My goal was to be at 395 miles by the end of March, and I hit 412.9.  Yippee!

2/16: 5.9 miles (4 mile run)
2/17: 2.7 miles (strength)
2/18: 3.1 miles (yoga)
2/19: 1.6 miles (rest)
2/20: 2.5 miles (yoga)
2/21: 11.1 miles (8 mile run)
2/22: 3.4 miles (rest)
2/23: 1.9 miles (rest, spent most of the day in a car driving)
2/24: 1.4 miles (strength; forgot to wear my watch for almost 15 hours so I lost a lot of miles there. Boo.)
2/25: 3.4 miles (2 mile run)
2/26: 5.4 miles (4 mile run)
2/27: 3.7 miles (yoga)
2/28: 2.8 miles (rest)

Total February Miles: 122.9

3/1: 1.1 miles (rest)
3/2: 6.3 miles (3 mile run)
3/3: 4.2 miles (strength)
3/4: 3.3 miles (yoga)
3/5: 8.7 miles (5 mile run)
3/6: 3 miles (yoga)
3/7: 13.6 miles (10 mile run)
3/8: 4.8 miles (rest)
3/9: 6.2 miles (4 mile run)
3/10: 4.1 miles (strength)
3/11: 2.1 miles (yoga)
3/12: ? My watch died (4.5 mile run)

3/14: 7.8 miles (10k trail race!)
3/15: no watch. No record. No idea.
3/16: this week I was in trial and totally had a bummer week. Oops! 2.3 miles
3/17: 4 miles (2 mile run & strength)
3/18: 2.6 miles
3/19: 2 miles
3/20: 2.8 miles
3/21: 14.2 miles (10 mile run)
3/22: 3.1 miles (rest)
3/23: 5 miles (3 mile run)
3/24: 2.6 miles (strength)
3/25: 2.4 miles (yoga)
3/26: 5.4 mile (3 mile run)
3/27: 2.6 miles (yoga)
3/28: 13.7 miles (10 mile race!)
3/29: 3.8 miles (rest)
3/30: 4.0 miles (25 minute no Garmin recovery run)
