    30L1P: Day 30

It’s here! The last day is here 😱 Today I wanted some eggplant-ish colored eyes and lips. I love wearing purple eyeshadow, but the only real purple in the Jaclyn Hill Palette is the shimmery royal purple and I didn’t want that. I played around with some color mixing and came out with exactly what I wanted! 1- all over the lid, in the crease, and blend up towards the brow bone. 2- using a flat brush, I added this all over the lid, focusing on making it darkest on the outer corner. 3- Using a fluffy brush I added this color over top of color 2. Using the same…

    30L1P: Day 29

Whhhaaaat we are almost done with our 30 Looks 1 Palette project? I’m still kinda amazed I made it through if I’m being real honest. For today I went with a really look but then I wanted to bump it up just a bit with a little shimmer. I think a lot of people are worried about using shimmer, especially during the day. Don’t be afraid! Shimmer can open up your eyes and make them pop! And that’s the whole goal right?? 1- you know the drill- all over the lid, in the crease, and blend up towards the brow bone. 2- focus this color on the outer corner and…

    30L1P: Day 28

Today’s look didn’t exactly turn out like I expected, but that happens with makeup sometimes. I’m going to keep trying this technique and change up a few things for next time. I followed this YouTube tutorial. I have naturally very hooded eyes. This means when my eyes are open, you can’t see any of my lid space. That can make it hard to do eyeshadow because you won’t always see what I’m wearing when my eyes are open. I’m always looking for new ways to make my eyes look bigger and more open and YouTube is a great place to find help. I would suggest you try and figure out…

    30L1P: Day 27

I can’t believe this month is almost over! I’ve learned so much myself and I hope it was helpful to you all. Today’s look is another everyday look. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is how many different looks I can create just by layering different colors. 1- all over the crease and lid and blend up to the brow bone 2- focus this color on the outer corner, and then blend it into the crease 3- top color number 2 with this pretty bronze color. Don’t use too much so the brown will show through Please like & share:

    30L1P: Day 26

I woke up knowing I wanted to wear this bright coral lipstick and I decided to match my blush and eyeshadow with the same tones. When I first put the orange shadow on my lids (color #2) it was much too dark and bright. By layering it with a light shimmery shadow, I got the perfect coral color. 1- put this all over the lids and blend up nearly up to the brow bone. 2- using a flat shader brush, put this color all over the lid. 3- top the orange color with this shimmer shade. If it ends up too light, go back with the orange color on a…

    30L1P: Day 25

If you’re short on time but still need to look put together, I have a tip just for you. Here’s how: using a small blending brush, add a deeper color (anyone you want- I used a brown marked as #1). With your eye open, looking straight at the mirror, blend the dark color on the outer half of your eye, just above the crease. Then close your eye and blend it along the lower lash line. Basically you are creating a V shape on the outer corner. Take a flat brush and take a bright light color (#2) on your inner corner. Blend the two colors together and you’re good…

    30L1P: Day 24

I want just a tiny bit of color today. I put this together very quickly and I love how it makes my eyes pop. 1- I dipped into the lighter color twice and then one tap in the darker color. Then I blended it through the crease and up towards the brow. 2- using a wet brush, I used this color all the lid. Wetting this gold makes it like a foiled shadow. 3- using a tiny brush, I put a bit of this on the lower lash line. Please like & share:

    30L1P: Day 23

Yesterday was a very long and busy day so I totally forgot to take a picture until I was about to go to bed. Thus this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Full disclosure: one of the kiddos I volunteer with on Fridays told me that I look scary because my eyes were all red. I told her I was inspired by a sunset. She wasn’t buying it. So maybe don’t wear this around 1st graders 😂 1- all over the lid and just above the crease 2- starting a little lower, add this color 3- put this color all over the lid And voila- a scary sunset 🤣 Please like & share:

    30L1P: Day 22

Of the course on the day where it’s beautifully sunny and finally warm, I wanted to do a dark smokey eye. What the heart wants ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 1- all over the lid and blended towards the brow bone as a base. 2- blend this into the outer corners and into the center of the lid. Avoid the inner corners. This can be a light layer because we are going to build it up slowly. 3- with a very light hand, blend the black into the very outer corner. Go back and forth between 2 and 3 building up the color until it’s as deep as you want. I ended with 2…

    30L1P: Day 21

I got my allure beauty box in the mail and was immediately inspired by the lipstick (in color c211) that was included. A good mauvey lipstick is my jam, and this one is going to be a new favorite. I love to match the tones in my lips to my eyeshadows- it’s a simple way to pull everything together. 1- you know the drill by now 😉 All over the lid and up to the crease. 2- tap your brush into each color once and swipe al over the lid. Keep dipping once in each and blending until you get the color as deep as you want. 3- with your…
